As the years pass, my mind allows memories to seep in with less heartbreak. I can still hear the timber of your voice. The way you said my name. The way you always started a voicemail with “jill, this is dad” as if I wouldn’t have known otherwise. There is a deep space in my world’s reality of where you once were present. I pray often that wherever your soul resides that it provides you with peace, joy and a great audience to laugh at all your jokes. Love and miss you Dad.
